How long does my gown take to alter?
This depends on the extent of your alterations. Most alterations take 10-12 weeks to complete. But we can do alterations faster if needed. And we always love more time to complete your alterations.
How many fittings will I have?
At least three. The first fitting will be done with Suzanne. She'll pin your gown and walk you through all her recommended alterations. You'll get a full price breakdown of the work that needs to be done.
The second fitting will be done with Suzanne. The gown will be prepped and pinned. We'll double check things like strap placement and final size before finishing the alterations.
The final fitting all the work will be complete. This fitting with be done with one of our seamstress assistants. You will approve everything and then your gown will be steamed or final tweaks will be done.

Most fittings are booked in thirty minute segments. Depending on extent of alterations we may need more time, but most appointments last just under thirty minutes.
What if I bought a sample gown that's the wrong size?
Not a problem. Suzanne is an expert at alterations, including complicated ones. She can let the gown out or take it in. Just book your first fitting and she'll walk you through everything you need to know.
What should I bring with me to my fitting?
Bring your shoes and any undergarments you plan to wear with the gown. You will need these at every fitting as they will impact your alterations. Also we do kindly ask that you wear a mask to help keep everyone safe during the ongoing COVID-19 health pandemic. You can be assured that Suzanne & her team will be wearing one throughout your fittings.
Who should I bring with me to my fitting?
Bring your mom or one of your girls with you to at least your final fitting. They will learn how to do your bustle and how to get you into your gown on the day of your wedding.
